Lichen Naturally Dyed River Yarn
Lichen Naturally Dyed River Yarn
Sustainably harvested from the ground after rainstorms, we collected enough Umbilicaria lichen to create a vat to dye several skeins of yarn. The results are always a surprise, ranging from fuchsia to grape! If you like it, snag it, for it won’t be here long!
River, one of our featured rustic yarns is mill spun Border Leicester wool from Carpe Dream Acres, Susquehanna County, PA. A longwool breed known for its versatility and crimp, it can be used both for clothing as well as household textiles.
Two ply DK Weight
220 yds
90g/3.2 oz
100% Border Leicester Wool
Origin: Susquehanna County PA
Suggested Needle Size: US# 5 - 7 (3.75 - 4.5 mm)
